What are your areas of expertise?

Whilst I don’t like to admit it, I have worked in this rather niche industry for over 20 years. I started off as a trainee at 16 for Protravel, who at the time were one of the market leaders and industry pioneers. Working in the same industry for a long period of time has given me vast experience and insight across all areas of the business.

Most memorable travelling moment?

Work related - hosting 350 winners on Sydney Harbour for the Millennium. We had the best spot on the Harbour and we partied like it was 1999!

What are your areas of expertise?

Its now been over 15 years since I delved into the world of sales promotion and I like to think that this has given me a lot of in-depth knowledge of the industry as a whole and it has been fascinating watching it grow and adapt with the introduction of social media and ever developing technology. I love keeping abreast of new and unique experiences and marrying these up to prizes and promotions to ensure a fabulous prize for our clients.

Most memorable travelling moment?

I have many very memorable moments, as I have been lucky enough to explore lots of the world but the stand outs would have to be seeing a pride of lions very close up in the Kruger National Park, watching the rehabilitated Orang Utans in Borneo, scuba diving in Thailand, kayaking in Cape Town and exploring the white sands of the Cook Islands.

What are your areas of expertise?

Having worked in the industry for a number of years my knowledge of the world around us is pretty rounded. When it comes to areas of expertise this seems to lie in the places I have been or visited, the best way to become an ‘expert’! The UK and Europe, you can spend very little time travelling and gain such variation in scenery and culture, this seems to be my field. Cities, the countryside, coastal, mountain tops.... and then there is the biscuit tin, I am an expert at sharing, eating them and topping it up.

Another country I love is France, the diversity is great. As a family we once visited the Dordogne. My Husband, myself and at the time our 2 small Daughters enjoyed a most memorable day in a kayak paddling up the Dordogne river. With our baguettes and French fayre packed, we meandered along, watching the world go by at a very different pace giving us the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful part of France from a completely different angle. I love the way our Daughters still talk about that day every once in a while.

What are your areas of expertise?

Safari, USA, Caribbean, Indian Ocean and Costa Rica. I am also known in the office for making a good cuppa tea!!

Most memorable travelling moment?

Work related is the recent charity skydive!! Everyone told me it would be the most memorable experience. It was memorable for being the most terrifying experience ever and not one that I would like to repeat any time soon!! Although I am so pleased that I got to raise money for an amazing charity and to do something completely out of my comfort zone.

What are your areas of expertise?

I love creating proposals for film and television, there’s an air of excitement about them and it’s a chance to do something a bit different. I am also a bit of a history nerd, so anything related to history always interests me too. On a personal note I have a soft spot for American cities, in particular Las Vegas, San Francisco and Miami. My three favourite holidays I have ever been on are Australia, Mexico and the Maldives – all different but all amazing.

Most memorable travelling moment?

Diving off the barrier reef from Cairns, Australia.

Most memorable travelling moment?

I have worked in travel now for 20 years and have sent many holiday makers and prizewinners to destinations worldwide. I’ve taken tourism courses in Canada, US and Caribbean and have been lucky enough to visit myself for work and pleasure as well as hosting incentives.

I particularly enjoy working with the brands that make these things happen and seeing it through to the end result, from creating the proposals to calling the lucky winner to give them the good news that they have won a holiday.

What are your areas of expertise?

Canada, USA and Caribbean

Come back soon, this one’s on its way.

What are your areas of expertise?

Well I would like to think I have quite an eclectic mix of knowledge. My working history would put the Far East, Middle East, India, Australia and New Zealand as my strongest areas, however over the past few years USA seems to be top on my list for new locations to visit so ask me anything, I have probably been there.

Most memorable travelling moment?

So many to think of, the Grand Canyon this year was amazing, Elephant trekking in Koh Samui, the Taj Mahal in India. Top of the list now has to be Dubai where I got engaged. Travel isn’t always about where you are or what you are doing, sometimes it’s the person you’re with that’s most important.

What are your areas of expertise?

Helping our winners to get the most out of their holiday. I love researching and confirming city breaks and cruises.

Most memorable travelling moment?

Cruising the Mediterranean with my husband - our best holiday to date!

Hollie Headland

What are your areas of expertise?

I have worked in the travel and aviation industry for over 10 years. I would say my area of expertise would be in the behind the scenes of all the amazing prizes and incentives we create here at Cloud Nine. I love bringing to life our ideas and making sure our prizewinners have the most memorable experiences.

Most memorable travelling moment?

My favourite place in the world is the Isle of Wight. I have so many happy memories there and I love the serenity the Island brings. I will always remember watching the sun setting over the Needles with my daughter.

What are your areas of expertise?

I have worked in the travel industry for around 13 years now, mainly in customer facing roles on the High Street. However, I have to admit I have a soft spot for cruise. Having worked onboard P&O for almost two years I’ve certainly experienced the glamour of life on the high seas first hand (even if I did sleep in a bunk bed next to the engine room). I also have a soft spot for Disneyland Paris. Even after having been to Florida I love the accessibility of Disneyland Paris and if desired you can literally pop there for a weekend break.

Most memorable travelling moment?

Work related – Hard to choose between the Sail into Sydney onboard P&O Arcadia or walking the Great Wall of China. Two experiences to look back on and always smile. Very lucky to be able to check them off my list.

What are your areas of expertise?

I’m the go to font of knowledge on all things UK and outdoors. You need a dog friendly hotel close to a Blue Flag beach or family friendly gadgets then I’m your dog.

Most memorable travelling moment?

A particularly lovely long weekend in Dorset. A dog friendly cottage just a few minutes from Lulworth Cove, we even went on a Steam Train!
